I play in a band called sparrow that I started with my friends here in Southern Maine. we play chamber folk, among other things. piano, cello, harp, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and some vocals to cure what ails you. a refuge from the chaos of life. a moment of beauty and truth. feeling the feelings and enjoying the ride. decades of experience come together to make musical magic.

I play mandolin, tenor banjo, octave mandolin, bass, guitar (acoustic and electric) and a little bit of drums and keys. I also love to sing and write songs too (mostly modern folk style). My favorite influences are Gillian Welch, The Weepies, and Toad the Wet Sprocket, and plenty of others too.

I write a lot of our songs, and I’m honored to have won one of the recent rounds of the Wildwood Studios Songwriting Contest.

My old band in Vermont was Whiskey Priest, which was your favorite folk, blues, and whatnot band. Americana, old-time, gospel, and the occasional pop song too. A mix of traditionals, modern favorites and original tunes. Check out our demo album on Spotify and whatnot.
